With the release and promotion of *Intelligent Manufacturing Capability Maturity Model* (CMMM, GB/T 39116-2020), this standard has become the core framework for enterprises to evaluate and improve their intelligent manufacturing capabilities. Starting from the four capability domains of "people, technology, resources, and manufacturing", CMMM provides enterprises with a progression path from "planning level" to "leading level" through the detailed requirements of 16 sub-domains. Combining standard requirements and industry practices, this article will elaborate on how to carry out the planning and implementation of intelligent manufacturing systems based on CMMM.
